Have you ever ordered non prescription colored contacts online, without seeing your eye doctor? How did it work out for you?

Yes. It worked out fine for me. As long as you know all the other information that is required when ordering contact. However, I will say I feel that the quality of my contacts are not as good. That could also be due to the brand I am using which was a cheaper one because I was trying to spend as little $$ as possible. I use Focus Monthly, green color. I would just recommend not being too cheap and getting a higher level brand. But as far as fit and use, ordering online without a doctor works out just fine for me.

Just as Dr. David E said all contacts should only be gotten through your eye care professional. If you value your eyes and your ability to see then you shouldn't want to risk ordering contacts that mostly all come from Asia somewhere. You have no idea the conditions these contacts were even produced in and you want to stick them in your eyes? Remember if they were to do any damage to your eyes they would just laugh at you because there is nothing that you or anyone can do to them. Just because they are on the internet doesn't mean they are safe, and they aren't. You need to value your precious eyesight and not even consider wearing a contacts unless they come by way of an eye exam and proper fitting form your ECP.
You only have one pair of eyes and they need to last you a lifetime. So take care of them.

It is illegal. In The US, there is no such thing as non-prescription contacts. All contacts, even those with no power require a prescription. If someone sells them to you, you know that they are the kind of people that would break federal law to make a buck. Are you sure that you want to trust your eyes to them. <
