What is the best town in the U.S?

If I ever move again, it would be to the northwest. Eugene Oregon is one of the nicest places I have been to. Not too big, not too small, beautiful scenery when it doesn't rain, it does rain a lot, I think that has something to do with it's beauty though. Southern California has nice weather, but the traffic is terrible, the smog hides the sky, head north along the west coast, starting at Sacramento and further up to Washington the whole west coast is A Ok to me, I just have a cousin in Eugene and I have visited her there a few times, I really liked it.

Boston, Massachusetts for sure. Lots of old charm mixed with new culture. There are so many things to do there, and the water views are beautiful. In the north end, there are amazing Italian restaurants (all the meals are made from scratch, I've seriously never had better tiramisu in my life), and so much old history. The sports culture there is also unbeatable. Boston has the most amazing sports fans, whether it's the Red Sox, Bruins, or Patriots, we get wild at games and stick with our teams no matter what. It's an amazing city, one that I absolutely aspire to live in one day.

Detroit. A good Greek-owned coney island is reason enough, but the culture, architecture, and people are great too. The declining population, to me, has actually been a very good thing. As Chicago, LA and NYC grew, they gentrified and became melting pots. Most of the immigrants were assimilated. In Detroit, there are still amazing Greek, Polish, Mexican, Jewish, and Irish neighborhoods. Trust me, "Greektown" is neither the only nor the best Greek neighborhood in the area, its just the most touristy.

New York is the great city of America. If you could own guns in New York City, I would live there. BUT I like guns. In New York it is almost impossible to own several handguns. In Los Angeles you can own pretty much any gun you want except for assault rifles, and guns with clips over ten shots. They don't issue gun permits in Los Angeles City or Los Angeles County, but I have carrried a .25 automatic pistol around here since I got out of the Army. I am a tiny little man, and fighting is out of the question. The .25 automatic is so small, you can carry one, and cops can frisk you and never notice it. I have been frisked by cops carrying a small .25 auto, many times. I take the bus and subway to work, and the Sheriff's who used to patrol the subway, and the LAPD who patrol it now, like to cordon off everyone getting off the Metro, and pat down all the men. My current way of concealing my .25 auto, is I just hide it in my briefcase. They never see it. Also, I wear a sport coat, necktie, slacks and dress shoes to work, and my skin is whiter than white, and I am a small little, skinny man, with shoulder length hair. They assume I am harmless and don't really pat me down seriously. I also keep a Bulgarian 9 x18mm Makarov under the front seat of my car, which is now a bright red Fiat 500 Turbo. No cop has ever spotted it.
Florida sux because it is so humid. Actually, if you grew up in Los Angeles, any place east of the Mississippi river is too humid to live in.
Los Angeles has certain advantages. I love the beach. It has great food from around the world. It has a better gay scene than Anywhere except San Francisco. But San Francisco is always cold.. Los Angeles has perfect whether year round. And most people don't that right behind Los Angeles is this gigantic mountain National Forest you can hunt in, 50 miles by 70 miles, with bear, deer, Nelson Bighorn Sheep, mountain lions, where you can go skiing. It has 10,000 foot peaks. The Angeles National Forest. And you can visit these awesome deserts, like the Mojave Desert, or Joshua Tree.

I am really into Yoga, and Los Angeles probably has more and better yoga than any other city in America. We also have the best Sushi.

According to my experience the Chautauqua is the most famous Town in New York and United State. I visited there many times with my family. You know it offers to see a lot of amazing attractions for visitors. It is best to enjoy vacations and short time with friends and family.

Small coastal communities. I like small towns but I also like the coast a lot. Especially the Gulf Coast. Never have found large cities to be appealing. The only one I like is New Orleans because the food, the culture and it's my birthplace.

I now prefer areas outside small towns in a semi-wilderness setting, like in NorCal close to the ocean. Far off mountain tops are crystal clear, dead quiet, next to no traffic, deer come into my yard for apple chunks I throw out to them, . After 59 yrs all around and in LA, I have had enough of the worst traffic, noise and air pollution.

For cheesesteak? Philadelphia
For cheese-cake? NYC
For Gumbo? New Orleans
For sushi? Los Angelas
For burgers? Chicago

Pitman - New Jersey

It is where the most beautiful woman I ever saw once resided
and it is a nice little one major intersection town.
