If you intend to wear them again: Don't put them in milk. Don't put them in urine. Don't put them in gasoline. Don't put them in tap water. Don't put them in distilled water. Don't put them in beer. Don't put them in hydrogen peroxide. Put them in the multipurpose solution that your optometrist recommended. If you want to do somthing interesting with your contact lenses before you throw them away, you can put them in anything you like. All of the above substances probably have some characteristic that might make them good to store contacts in. All of them have some characteristic that makes it a really bad idea.
why would you do that?
Milk is somewhat acidy, so wouldn't it ruin the plastic? I mean acidy milk and also soda ruins teeth, so I'd think you wouldn't want to soak your contacts in milk. <
